NCT-01 DONABE for Gas Flame NEW from JAPAN

The far-infrared effect allows the heat to penetrate to the core of the rice, resulting in fluffy rice. The thick-walled finish of the open flame part stores and gently transmits heat, providing excellent heat retention. The double lid functions as a pressure cooker and prevents spills. The double lid functions as a pressure cooker and prevents spills. The earthenware pot breathes just like a wooden pot, and the rice does not get sticky. The clay pot breathes just like a wooden pot, so the rice does not get sticky. Please understand that slight differences in size, weight, and color due to handmade.

No need to control the heat, no spillage.
Kamado-san is an earthenware pot for cooking rice over a direct gas flame.
No need to adjust the heat.
The Iga clay breathes like a wooden pot and keeps the rice from sticking.
Iga clay pots made of Iga coarse clay need to be sealed with a thick starchy material from the beginning.
Rice water is not dense enough, so be sure to use "leftover rice" to cook the porridge.
Also, if you make porridge from rice, it will take longer for the porridge to become starchy and the water will penetrate the earthenware pot, causing leaks and cracks.
The body of the pot is about 1.5 times thicker than a normal earthenware pot (our comparison) and the lid is double-layered, making it heavier.
This weight is the key to heat storage and delicious rice cooking without heat.
After use, wash it quickly with lukewarm water. For stains, use a sponge with neutral detergent and wash by hand.
Do not leave it soaked in detergent for a long time.
If the stain does not stick, add lukewarm water and let it sit for a while before washing.
After washing, wipe well and dry thoroughly with the bottom of the pot facing up.
