Interesting 9x12" ad for Renault, the French car manufacturer. Ad features a photo of Etoile Filante (Shooting Star), Renault's one and only attempt at a land speed record car or a gas-powered turbine car. In 1956, at Bonneville, the car reached an average speed of 191.0 mph, and achieved the world record for a turbine engine car.

About the Print
This print is printed on a midweight, low-gloss, coated magazine stock, removed from a damaged copy of the 1957 ACO magazine/yearbook "Cinquentenaire" issue, which celebrated the club's 50th anniversary. The Automobile Club de l'Ouest is France's largest automotive group, and the organizer of the annual Le Mans 24 Hour race.
Ad is in good vintage condition, with clean, sharp edges and corners, and a bright, clean surface. There are soft handling dimples across the page, as seen in the photo. When viewing from normal angles, these imperfections are more pronounced on the unprinted parts of the page than they are in the Geo Ham print. Page measures approximately 9.25" x 12.25" (26 x 32cm).
