This is a handmade replica of the iconic Parrot Head Handle Umbrella seen in Disney's 1964 Classic Musical: "Mary Poppins".

General Information:
The parrot head handle is cast from my original sculpt in durable resin. The resin is then primed, painted, covered in a protective layer of clear, and lastly perched on a small custom designed black umbrella. The umbrella is usable in rain, though I don't recommend use in heavy storms.

Replica Details:
This piece is the culmination of years of research, sketching, designing, and sculpting, attempting to create the most authentic and screen-accurate replica of the famed umbrella. Disney released two editions of official umbrellas which immediately sold-out. These were not accurate in appearance and are rare to come by.
My piece is meticulously designed after photographs of the original film prop. If you compare my design to that of the films, you'll notice the same shape and size of feathers, the off-center beak, the colors, everything! I use a dry-brush technique to individually paint each parrot head like the original, so their appearance will be "practically perfect in every way".
The handle is also accurate to size based on exact measurements of the original hand prop used by Julie Andrews. For this new deluxe edition, I have created a new mold to which I can apply custom ordered taxidermy eyes just like in the film. I also designed and manufactured custom tassels just like the films, and a Victorian style umbrella of the same size as Julie's original hand prop. You'll notice the extended umbrella staff, the curved umbrella canopy, and even the metal tip at the end of the small umbrella. Using the approximate size of the original prop, the piece will measure about 37 inches.
I am confident and take pride in the fact that this is the most accurate original Prop Replica of Mary Poppins' enchanted Parrot umbrella anywhere. Perfect for cosplay, stage use, and collection/display! Please note that each piece is a labor of love and should be considered a collectible prop replica; this is NOT A TOY.
