This 4-page brochure (
a single printed page folded in half
) on heavy card stock is the information on the MINI prepaid extended maintenance program in 2012.
At that time, the new car warranty covered the regular maintenance on the car (
including oil service and ear-and-tear items like wiper blades and brake pads, etc
.) up to 3 years or 36,000 miles.
With this extended program, the new car buyer could pre-pay for an extension of that program for as long as 6 years or 100,000 miles. The advantage to pre-purchasing this program is that the buyer was adding the maintenance charges onto the loan for the car, and was able to purchase the services at a cost that was lower than coming in to the dealer for service after the original new car warranty had expired.
There's no mention in the brochure if this program was available for the MINI Next, Certified Preowned vehicles. Also, no costs are quoted.
The brochure shows a Cooper convertible in red on the front cover. Inside, we see a yellow Cooper S convertible.
Condition notes
: VG+ condition with very slight bumps on the upper and lower front corners on the open side. Very slight scratching on the back likely from the original packing/shipping to the MINI dealer.
